Through the partnership, Achievable will make its CLT, SAT, and ACT preparation courses available to ACCS member schools, giving students access to comprehensive, self-guided test preparation while providing schools with tools to monitor student progress and readiness.
Of particular relevance to ACCS schools is Achievable’s CLT preparation course. The course was developed in partnership with Clayborne Education, an official test preparation provider of the Classic Learning Test and a team with decades of combined experience preparing students for college admissions exams.
The CLT is especially well aligned with classical Christian education because of its emphasis on verbal and quantitative reasoning, the classical liberal arts tradition, and engagement with significant works from the Western intellectual tradition. ACCS President David Goodwin, who also serves on the CLT Board of Academic Advisors, has previously described the emergence of the CLT as “a refreshing new direction” in college entrance testing.
