This marks the first time the company has received this recognition since its founding in 2016.
The Metropolitan Magazine Best of Awards is an annual program celebrating outstanding achievements across a wide range of industries, honoring innovation, service excellence, and community impact. The 2026 Best of Ballot invited readers and industry professionals across the region to nominate and vote for their favorite local businesses and it was Seafloor Carpets’ own customers who nominated and voted the company into the winner’s circle.

A Customer’s Perspective
Among the many customers who helped secure this win are Jeremy and Nicole Masonier, owners of Berlin Dentistry, where Seafloor Carpets recently updated the waiting room with luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring and replaced carpet throughout the hallway and offices.

A Family Business with Deep Roots
Seafloor Carpets was founded in 2016 and purchased in 2025 by Jerry and Jen Andrews from former owner Don Robertson. Jerry brings 30 years of flooring industry experience to the role, having previously served as an installer and general manager of another flooring company. The couple sought the opportunity to own their business outright and build something they could one day pass down to their three children ages 18, 16, and 12.
Former owner Don Robertson has stayed on to support a smooth transition to Jerry, while continuing to work directly with customers in sales. He looks toward retirement down the road.
Beyond the showroom, Jerry and Jen are committed to giving back to their Eastern Shore community. Seafloor Carpets are proud supporters of our armed forces sponsoring Memorial Day and 4th of July events, the Wor-Wic students at Ocean Resorts Golf Club, and the Ocean Pines Swim Team, a nonprofit competitive swim program dedicated to helping young athletes reach their full potential in and out of the pool.
Expanding to Meet Community Needs
Since taking ownership, Jerry has grown Seafloor Carpets’ offerings to better serve coastal homeowners and businesses. They’ve added hardwood refinishing, premium hardwood solutions built for oceanside living, acoustic wood panels, artificial turf, and expanded tile capabilities all within the past year.
