Disston and Harry Vanderslice of The Vanderslice Group at Compass RE, in partnership with Conshohocken-based developer The How Group, today announced the official Hard Hat Launch and demolition kickoff for a new luxury condominium development featuring three stories over parking, at the corner of 34th Street and Bay Avenue. The event will take place on-site on September 28, 2026, at 1:00 PM, marking the countdown to demolition at one of Ocean City’s primary gateway corridors. The Vanderslice Group at Compass RE will serve as the development’s exclusive sales and marketing agency.
The HOW Group will be in attendance, including VP of Development John Pack, Mayor Jay Gillian, city officials, and local media for an on-site walkthrough featuring a name and branding reveal, custom-branded hard hats, rendering displays, a media photo wall, and food trucks. Attendees will witness the live start of demolition on the legacy Seaspray complex, which The How Group acquired in late 2025.
The new building will feature forty three residential condominium units directly across from the bay and meadows, with unbelievable views and unmatched amenities. The residential offering includes 33 two-bedroom units spanning over 1200 square feet, and 10 three-bedroom units ranging from 1700-1900 square feet. Ground-level covered parking will provide 87 off-street spaces complete with dedicated EV charging stations, anchored by a porte-cochère entrance.
Designed with eco-conscious modern living in mind, the development will feature Ocean City’s first green roof.
